Math
We have 3 more lessons on Patterns next week. You will be receiving games to practice creating, predicting and identifying pattern rules of growing and shrinking patterns at the end of the week.
Many students did not submit their Math calendar.
On Thursday we discussed sentences. What do all simple sentences have?
We began writing descriptive simple sentences using sound words. Next we will discuss compound sentences. Students in grade 4 should be able to write a variety of simple and compound sentences. In grade 5, students should moving toward writing more complex sentences as well as simple and compound. Good writers use a variety of sentences types.
Art
Pumpkin line art looks fantastic. If you would like to go over your lines with a thin sharpie, you are welcome to bring one from home.

Learning Skills
Our learning skill for last week was ORGANIZATION. Please assess the goal you set at the beginning of the week. Notebook organization remains the biggest challenge for most students. Up next.... INDEPENDENT WORK.
